Routine Childhood Vaccines and Women’s Health Screening Presentation

I wanted to share with you a free presentation from Family Doctors about Routine Childhood Vaccines and Women’s Health Screening, put on by "health for all", a not-for-profit centered around , trying to do capacity-building overseas for educating physicians to work where they're needed most.  Check out www.globalgen.org.  

One of their key goals is to provide "access to family doctors" everywhere.  Many people find that doctors in Alberta are too busy to adequately discuss their patients’ issues.  Some Albertan’s don't even have a family doctor, and can't engage at a walk-in clinic.

So, Global Generation Foundation is putting on "the Waiting Room Sessions", where four times each year physicians will talk about things that matter (with an opportunity for Q&A).  The first one is in Calgary’s Capitol Hill area tonight.  Topics are Routine Childhood Vaccines and Women's Health Screening... so it should prove to be lively!  It starts at 5:30 and is free / open to the public.  You can find out more here
